T’was Two Weeks Before Christmas Jam with Frank Medley!

T’was two weeks before Christmas and they were all ready to jam. It was Friday and Frank Medley had a plan.

The music was stirring at the Whiskey Warehouse with the musicians on-hand!

The air was cold and snow covered the streets, not many people were out as Justin Smith laid down the beat.

Craig Whitaker was on the bass and handled the pace, while Frank Medley gave us some licks with his guitar tricks that were crisp!

Josh Carmichael gave us some vocals, then laid down the skins, as he sat on the drum throne with a mighty grin.

Our own, Wendy Roberts picked up the bass after 33-years long. She also sang a few songs as she gave us her musical charm and her Mother, Barb Cornell cheered her on!

Taylor Schlupp brought his guitar as he jammed-out with Cory Hunt, who sang lights-out!

While the turnout was down, little did we know it was the last jam at the venue, sadly; to soon shutdown.

As Red Ball Jet’s vocalist, Dave Stirtzinger dropped by to wish Frank, Merry Christmas and a good night, I took a photograph and headed towards the door.

Bassist, Craig Whitaker.

The bartender said: “Last Call” and the music stopped, before I returned to the cold friged air and cleaned my windows with flair, realizing; I just witnessed performances by musicians who care.

The music performed is never dull and best of all; it’s an ongoing night for music fans too!

There’s never a lull, ’cause you never know who may show up with Frank Medley and the Get-A-Way Mid-Ohio Jam!

Since 1981, Frank Medley has gave Mid-Ohio musicians first start with his Get-A-Way band and an unselfish heart.

I highly recommend you go out and support Frank Medley’s jam night whenever you can!
