The Rust Belt Chronicles reaches a New Milestone!

The Rust Belt Chronicles achieved a first for us, by earning over 10,000 visitors to our website this month. We’ve also reached over 18,000 people through our Facebook page, which is another record for any given month, since our existence. What’s really surprising is the statistics we’ve received took place during the slowest concert month of the entire year!

I am confident this is a strong indication of our brand and passion for music and entertainment being recognized for our uniqueness. Coupled with staff members (who are rapidly becoming well respected in their field) by selflessly sharing the same vision of what we want to achieve, sets us apart from our competition.

I want to thank our viewers. You are the heart of our success and backbone of our future. We understand you are passionate about music and entertainment and you’re our most valuable asset! The network of people we support all share a common goal in our vision of connection. We are proud to serve you!

Michele Loparo

This month our own, Michele Loparo broke the previous record held by Marie Thompson in total number of views with her coverage of RATT. Michele is taking the Cleveland-Akron, Canton, metro-area by storm and beyond with her reviews and videos being featured on several bands own websites and picked-up by Blabbermouth.net. I am so proud of her accomplishments in the short time she’s been with us. Michele is definitely making a difference in people’s lives!

I also want to thank the rest of my regular staff for their contributions as well! Our photographers rock too, as several national bands and artists have asked to use our photographs on their websites. We are a team and despite a slow month of shows, you’ve admirably contributed to our success!

In a world filled with clutter, we give you original content. I don’t pay services to “beef’ up our numbers or followers, we follow our hearts and rely on experience. When I see another competitor, copy something we do, I became annoyed. Not anymore. Now I get a chuckle out of it, because it tells me we are doing something correct and being copied by publications signifies we’re doing something right. Thinking outside the box is one powerful platform for us since we aren’t trapped by corporate rules. I strongly believe in giving people the freedom of creativity in all they do!

Ironically, we’re like the old WMMS radio station in Cleveland, by doing things differently, while breaking down some barriers and a few rules along the way. We see the connections across the fans, bands, promoters, venues, agencies and record labels as one cohesive unit without boundaries! Our optimism has never been higher as we look forward to a very promising year.

Thank you to Everyone for a great start in 2016! Keep Rockin’, cause – We will!

Sincerely,

Jim Carver

President/The Rust Belt Chronicles
