The Rust Belt Chronicles has You Covered at Ink In The Clink 2017 this Weekend!

This weekend promises to be special at 3rd Annual Ink In The Clink 2017 Tattoo and Music Festival (July 14, 15 ,16th) between the tattoo artist selling their creative art, national, regional and local bands and musicians performing, tour of the prison and the premiere of Blood Prison at The Ohio State Reformatory MRPS. In the history of Richland County this weekend will be the largest Tattoo and Music Festival ever!

With hotels, motels and campgrounds being sold-out and the Mansfield area and beyond seeing the influx of visitors, the event will likely sell-out. We recommend if you plan on attending to purchase your tickets now, before the old prison is put on lockdown!

This magnificent event offers over 80 tattoo artists and 46 bands/musicians geared-up to blow you away! On Friday evening the headlining band is In This Moment, Saturday is Three Days Grace and Sunday is Theory of A Deadman! These acts are being supported by other national acts such as All That Remains, Otherwise, 10 Years, Gemini Syndrome, Adelitas Way, Black Stone Cherry, Shamans Harvest, Texas Hippie Coalition and Motograter.  Fan favorites such as Bobaflex, Mushroomhead, Unsaid Fate, Starset, Autumn Burning, Dread Engine, Olathia, 40 Below Summer, Shallow Side and Grindhouse.

The winners of “The Battle of The Bands” at the Whiskey Warehouse Bar & Grill will all be performing on either the main stage or 2nd stage throughout the weekend. Several other bands who battled have been invited to perform on the second stage as well as local Mansfield acts and artists such as Chase Beaire, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Bonesaw, Frank Medley and The Get-Away Band, Krymzon and System 303.

Ink In The Clink 2017 will also be the largest concert and event coverage The Rust Belt Chronicles has ever had the pleasure of attending with added coverage and beyond! We want to thank the CEO and Founders, Rick and Susan Fields for allowing us to present to you the additional coverage!

Throughout the 3-day event, The Rust Belt Chronicles will give you photos, interviews and more. From the Tattoo artists to the fans, bands, food trucks, vendors and the debut of Blood Prison, our staff will give you the details as it happens on the Ink In The Clink Facebook page and our own, Facebook page. Our reviews of each day will appear on our website, sometime next week.

Our photos will be uploaded to the Ink In The Clink Facebook page after each bands performance with additional photos of the weekend activities at this exciting event as needed. We will also be broadcasting “Live” interviews as they happen on our Facebook page featuring many “Rock Moments” and videotaping exclusive interviews for our video show, “Rock Lines”.

As I mentioned earlier, this will be our first trek into a full production of media production, encompassing such a large scale of tasks in order to give attendees at Ink In The Clink current information and those of you who are unable to attend as well! All of our taped events are “one-take and done”, meaning the coverage is always interesting, funny and unique.

Lastly, I want to thank my staff for their pre-show work and detailed observations. I am blessed to have such a dedicated group of individuals, who I call “My Band”. Erica M. Lenhoff, Larry “Big L” Ritter, Jennifer Colleen, Shannon “Hammy” Hamilton and myself will be wearing many hats as usual to give you the best coverage possible throughout the weekend. If you see my staff , give ’em a high-five, they deserve it!

The weather is forecasted to be great. The Tattoo artists and Musical entertainment is top-notch, the history of the famous Ohio State Reformatory MRPS, Blood Prison, oddity vendors, food trucks and more will be the most unique setting in the USA!
