Today, The Rust Belt Chronicles is celebrating its 4th Year Anniversary. It’s been a wild run since our inception in March of 2013. During this time, we’ve had the pleasure of providing our readers with some of the best music and events in the Rust Belt area. As we enter our 5th year of publishing, our plan is to increase our coverage and obtain sponsors throughout the vast area we serve!

In February, we were ecstatic to announce our newest sponsors, Ink In The Clink 2017 and the Whiskey Warehouse Bar & Grill, both located in Mansfield, Ohio! The patronage and kindness shown by these two businesses from our hometown has afforded us the respect and recognition in our quest to provide you with the best coverage in our endeavors. We are honored to have Ink In The Clink 2017 and the Whiskey Warehouse Bar & Grill believe in us and building a strong relationship in furthering our efforts of growth in 2017! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

In the coming weeks, we are excited to announce several other new sponsors. These businesses also understand the importance of connecting our resources to increase our exposure together, furthering our cause of promoting music, bands and business. I believe we’ve finally turned the corner in establishing ourselves as the “#1 Music Source between Mid-Ohio and the North Coast!” When the local music scene supports our cause, we are building a strong alliance of partnerships within the local community; which will transcend outward to our areas of coverage.

The Rust Belt Chronicles has now amassed over 15 Million Hits (15.1 Million.) in its Fourth Year of publishing on the Internet! In our last year alone (March 2016 – March 2017), we accumulated over 6.8 Million hits to our website. These statistics are not counting our Facebook, Twitter and YouTube individual page statistics or webcrawlers.

Please consider advertising with us as we continue to fortify Ohio as the birthplace of Rock N’ Roll!

Our articles and photos have been featured on many artists websites and Twitter accounts including: Whitesnake, Alice Cooper, TOTO and the Goo-Goo Dolls and others in 2016!

In 2016 we added our new video show, Rock Lines and have increased staffing to bring you interviews, performances and behind-the-scenes footage with artists. The development of Rock Lines is a continual progression with our eventual hope of bringing “live filming” within a structured setting.

Our photos are copyrighted and we are selling photos of the bands we shoot for those musicians requesting to post our photos on your webpage or social media accounts. We are a business and we ask you respect our coverage by purchasing photos for future use.

We dropped sports coverage in 2017. We will be adding Restaurant/Dining reviews in 2017. Our stronghold will always be the music scene. My initial vision of offering a magazine-style coverage of the past, such as the one I use to drive to Cleveland and pick-up in the 1970’s has succeeded to provide you with online coverage, photos and links like no other source available!

The degree of excellence within the music community continues to drive us to new heights as we discover the vast amount of talent surrounding our local communities!

We work with Live Nation and PromoWest Productions, Top-Ten Record Companies and some of the largest PR agencies in the world to provide you with coverage. The venues we cover are too vast to list here. Our resources continue to grow as we “Connect The Dots In Rock!” We are so lucky to have such valuable resources and I thank each and everyone of you!

I want to thank my dedicated staff for all of their hard-work, persistence and sacrifice! You’re production and willingness to provide our readers with coverage is our back-bone. Without you, I would be lost.

I also want thank each and everyone of our readers, fans, friends and musicians for your FacebookLikes“, and Twitter comments and support! I am so lucky to be able to do what I do- because of you!

Finally, my hope is to bring a 5th Year Anniversary Party at the Whiskey Warehouse Bar & Grill in 2018. The celebration will feature many of the bands we’ve covered throughout our history!
