With their new 16th album, ‘The Mission’, Styx has captured the total essence of their magical music concept of the past with invigorating grit and determination for all 43-minutes of this recording. This is their boldest record since ‘Pieces of Eight‘. The Mission captures the trials, tribulations and triumphs with the concept of the first manned Mars mission in the year 2033. The new single, “Gone, Gone, Gone” pushes the envelope with the band driving a sonic launch into orbit immediately. Other notable tunes are: “Locomotive”, “Radio Since”, “Red Storm” and the closing tune, “Mission To Mars”.

For the last several years Styx has toured over 100 dates a year and doesn’t appear to be slowing down anytime soon! The band has always been one of the best acts to see in a ‘live’ setting during their 45-year history. The incredible vocals, musicianship, camaraderie, and professionalism is truly admirable! Don’t miss Styx on tour now!
