Both Wednesday and Friday shows are available!

Some know him as  “The Bomber” “The Confessor” or just an “Ordinary Average Guy“. But seriously folks, he’s as engrained into the  music scene as any artist on the planet, giving us songs that stick like funk in your mind, soul and ears. Joe Walsh knows what it’s like to live life in the fast lane, survive and succeeded in accomplishing what many musicians merely dream of. He’s seen the good times and the bad. On Wednesday, September 16th and Friday, September 18th, Joe Walsh begins another tour ironically in the heart of the rust belt area at W. D. Packard Music Hall in Warren, Ohio with two sold-out shows.

Joe broke the record for the quickest sellout of tickets at the venue, That should come by no surprise since his career began in the heartland of Ohio. While attending Kent State University, he formed The James Gang in 1969 with drummer, Jimmy Fox and bassist Dale Peters. Joe’s guitar riffs, songs and musical style became the catalyst and purveyor of an inspired music genre known as the “Midwest Rock Sound” along with bands such as: Glass Harp, The Michael Stanley Band and REO Speedwagon.

After recording three stellar studio albums (and a “Live” record) with the James Gang, Joe walked away in 1971 and formed his own band called, Barnstorm. Joe along with (his two core backing band members from Barnstorm), Kenny Passarelli and Joe Vitale took the time to assist on Michael Stanley’s first solo album, Friends and Legends. When Walsh released The Smoker You Drink, the Player You Get in 1973, success became an overnight sensation with the hit recording, “Rocky Mountain Way“.

Not content with standing in one spot to long, he became a member of The Eagles in 1975 and the status of the band with mega-stardom, money and fame eventually took its toll on the band members collectively and individually. During his time with The Eagles, he somehow found the time to release solo material and maintain his career. I suspect life became a blur with Joe’s drinking escalating out of control by this time and probably the success  he was having made it more difficult to recognize a problem. At any rate, The Eagles broke-up  in 1980 and Joe continued as a solo artist.

During this time, Joe Walsh established himself further as a highly successful solo career.  After a 14-year hiatus, The Eagles reformed on the stipulation that the band would be sober. The subsequent change in the bands priorities led Walsh to look at the man in the mirror. Change was coming! Joe gave up the bottle and The Eagles subsequent tours, “live” album, a new studio record, along with their popularity across the globe propelled the band with the induction to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998.

Joe has maintained his solo career, performed as part of the Ringo Starr & His All-Starr Band, had reunion shows with his former buddies of The James Gang, worked with a various amount of numerous musicians and bands as he sees fit, started and contributes to various charities. Mr. Walsh has even hinted about running for Congress.

Most importantly, Joe Walsh has remained sober. His song, “One Day At A Time” truly is his own story of a personal journey that took him from “Life in The Fast Lane“, to “Life’s Been Good!

In 2012, Walsh released his highly successful record, Analog Man.

Catch this legend, American music icon on his current tour.  Witness the extremely talented and wisdom of Joe Walsh in concert!
