Rust Belt Chronicles Offers Band Advertisement Page!

2016 Rust Belt NewLogo

The Rust Belt Chronicles is now offering a band advertisement page promoting individual musicians/bands. This page is cost effective for any local band/musician within Ohio, Pittsburgh or the Detroit metropolitan areas.

The Rust Belt Chronicles has been approached by a number of musician/bands for assistance in booking. These bands know we have an extensive reach with clubs/venues, management and promotion companies. Some bands have offered a percentage of their pay to us for assistance in booking. One of our main goals is to assist in promoting local bands throughout our coverage area. At this time, I honestly don’t have the time to become an agency booking or managing bands.

We are not fans of the “pay to play” system and will never become involved in exploiting bands. The Rust Belt Chronicles understands musicians are truly underpaid for their time, hours of rehearsing and travel; often performing for free or little compensation.

Return some of the love to our staff!

For 3 years, my incredibly dedicated staff members have given their free time with countless hours of writing, researching, photographing, interviewing, reviewing,  traveling, and CD Reviews to promote bands, concerts and venues for their pure love of music. Several of my staff members work 2 or more jobs and I need to be able to compensate everyone to retain their services, reduce their need to work extra hours and contribute more of their “Art” to the Rust Belt Chronicles.

This will obviously have an immense impact on our ability to consistently deliver more “original content”, retain and increase staffing, our coverage area and viewership.

Soon, I will be announcing additional staffing for sales and marketing. We will be initiating an aggressive advertizing campaign for businesses. Our success is due to our passionate staff members who deserve compensation!

I had to chuckle the other day. One band was so happy with our coverage they were thinking about placing our banner alongside their banner on-stage (I was truly humbled). If you loved our article, we’d rather you gives us a shout-out during your show or let us introduce your band at your gig.

Here’s your chance to help us, help you!
