Please Welcome Shannon Hamilton to: The Rust Belt Chronicles!

I’ve written about this scenario in the past, but it’s always a pleasure to announce something that matters. With all the turmoil, drama and craziness in today’s world, it’s a rarity that the media report positive news.  It is my hope that this little announcement puts a smile on your face as it does ours!

Our journey is about to expand with expanded timely coverage, increased marketing and other goodies. I can honestly say after four years of this labor of love- our dance is about to extend our audience significantly!  More details are forthcoming.

The Rust Belt Chronicles is always seeking good people who have their heart in the right place with positive characteristics, who thoroughly understand what we are about and make it their goal to represent us in a manner that resonates our approach.  I often am amazed that some of the most talented people are right under our nose, and between the connections we’ve made those individuals become “discovered”.

We feel Shannon Hamilton is one of those people with the rare qualities we seek and respect. After a recent trial show at one of the toughest indoor venues to photograph, we’ve taken the initiative to add Shannon to our staff!  His impeccable understand of our mission, the coming additions within our scope of entertainment and business circumvents where we are going together.  His unselfishness and passion to see the bigger picture and where we position ourselves is a perfect fit!

I am very proud to announce Shannon Hamilton to the staff of The Rust Belt Chronicles!

If you see Shannon out on “the job”, shake his hand, give him a high-five; and welcome him as we do!

Shannon Hamilton is also known as “Hammy” by his close friends. Born in Ashland, Ohio and he currently resides in West Salem, Ohio with his wife, Laura and daughter, Allysa.

My love of music started when I found a copy of Black Sabbath’s 1973 album, ‘Sabbath, Bloody Sabbath’. Music has always been a strong presence in my life starting as a young kid.  My first concert was Iron Maiden at the age of 15 in 1988 at The Richfield Coliseum. My enjoyment of music extends to every level from the national, regional and local scene in Cleveland, Ohio.  I tend to lean toward the heavy side of music scene with my favorite bands being MUSHROOMHEAD, Pantera and White Zombie.

Photography has given me the chance to combine my love for music into the challenge of capturing some great shots.  I am looking forward to improving my skills of live music photography as I learn from every experience!
