Please Welcome our New Journalist: Lori Demeretz!

10277011_10152409370646063_4739957402717555621_nLori Demeretz has always had a love for writing. After high school, she had planned on going to college to become a journalist. However, she was in a car accident and was not able to do so. Flash forward twenty years. Lori decided to make her dream of becoming a journalist a reality. She is now a student at Kent State University majoring in English.

Living on a small 8-acre farm, she shares her life with her husband Paul and their two daughters. Along, with her love of writing, Lori loves music. Although, you can get her to listen to just about any type of music there is, her favorite music artist is Duran Duran. She is also a big sister with Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Mahoning Valley, she is on the Diversity Committee at Kent State Trumbull Campus and volunteers with Angels for Animals, in Columbiana.

Jim Carver is the President of The Rust Belt Chronicles.

In 2004, Jim graduated from North Central State College with a degree in Business Information Technology. Jim developed "Rock Lines" news report online in 2010.After a trial-run of The Rust Belt Chronicles in April of 2013, Jim decided to make his dream a reality in 2014 by re-launching The Rust Belt Chronicles.
