Please Welcome Katlin Stello to our Staff!

Over the last year or so, I have attended many concerts passing out business cards seeking new writers for The Rust Belt Chronicles. After passing out hundred’s of cards to front row concert goers, I’ve finally found a writer.

What makes this announcement special is we’ve expanded into the Pittsburgh area this week.  The young lady I met at the recent Halestorm concert in Columbus, Ohio is from the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area. Her ambition is inspiring as is her ability to take on assignments. She was smiling at the concert and I am sure her reviews, interviews and creative music stories will do the same to you!

Please Welcome~ Katlin Stello to our staff!

IMG_0306Hi, my name is Katlin Stello. I was born and raised in a small city north of Pittsburgh. I am an X-Ray Technologist by trade, but I am a die hard music, movies, and sports fan. In my spare time, I enjoy playing guitar, traveling, being with my family, challenging myself by doing mud runs, and trying to catch up on movies. Obviously, I love concerts. According to my friends, “I am always going to one.” To quote Country Music Legend Martina McBride, “Going to a live show is something you cannot duplicate. Sure, you can watch some videos on YouTube, but you can never beat the live concert experience!”

My love for music started when I was a child, and I cannot go anywhere without my iPod! I was raised on listening to country music (Garth Brooks, Martina McBride, Shania Twain), but I have branched out. Currently, I am listening to Halestorm, Three Days Grace, Daughtry, and Saint Asonia. I also like up and coming bands such as Guns Out at Sundown and Starset, and Cavo.

Being in the medical field, I love meeting new people. I am looking forward to joining the Rust Belt Chronicles team!
