“A Night of Inspiration”

The Cleveland Institute of Art plays host to a “Night of Inspiration” an event to celebrate arts and education.  NewBridge Cleveland Center for Arts & Technology will be holding this celebration to recognize the success of NewBridge as well as the contributions of Oliver “Pudge” Henkel, Board Chairman, who has played a key roll in NewBridge.  Mr. Henkel will be stepping down as NewBridge Board Chairman after many years of dedicated service to the Cleveland community.

NewBridge, a community-based arts and training facility, helps provide the educational needs of Cleveland’s adult residents and at-risk teens of  Cleveland’s neighborhoods.  Youth can attend a summer arts program and can explore ceramics, graphic arts, and photography for Grades 6th through 8th.  Grades 9-12 can participate in Cle/Lead and after-school, art-infused training in self-concept/awareness: Interpersonal/Communication and personal management (social and emotional).  The teaching artist are all working artists who teach the arts and entrepreneurial spirit, including Robert Banks, Natalie Eddy, and Billy Ritter.  Adult education training includes Phlebotomy, Hospital Nursing Assistant and Culinary Arts, all at no charge to the students.

Providing entertainment for the evening will be Artist Elijah Gilmore, Jazz drummer, and composer (See Left).  He has toured with such artists as P. Diddy,  John Mayer, Dave Matthews Band and Outcast.  Elijah has also started a program, “The LAPA” to bring Drum workshops for all ages to daycares, high schools, and Universities.  You can check out Elijah and his latest album, “Return To Zeo’ on iTunes, Facebook, and Spotify.

Erica M. Lenhoff is a 24 year old award winning artist with a history of baking and decorating Cleveland’s best cakes and pastries. Recently she has transitioned her talents to downtown Columbus.

Miss Lenhoff has worked in the line of photography within a nationwide company where she had brought exceptional customer service working with all age groups and achieving excellent portraiture. Her personal achievement was breaking the top company sales record in 2015.
Over the years Erica has expressed her love for poetry, writing, modeling and representing the arts all over Ohio.
Her hobbies include visiting upcoming venues and checking out local scenes in food, dining, shopping and music.
With a passion for all musical genres she loves discovering up-coming artists.
Miss Lenhoff looks forward to representing Columbus and bringing a taste of the arts to you.
