Nine Shrines Rock Lines interview with Big L

You’ve seen Larry Ritter’s photos and written reviews for nearly three years on The Rust Belt Chronicles, now you get the chance to see him do a live interview.

Big L sat down with Chris Parketny (lead vocalist) and Andrew Wetzel (drummer) of Nine Shrines prior to their performance at The Ohio Theatre in Lima, Ohio during their tour run with Hinder, Nonpoint and Chrysalis. With the help of Aaron Murphy (camera tech), Big L got the guys take on several subjects, doing so with our unrehearsed, one take format.

Episode #5- Rock Lines Interview with members of Nine Shrines.

Andrew Baylis and Evan McKeever handle the six string portion for Nine Shrines while Devon Voisine (bass) joins Wetzel to provide the thunder of the rhythm section.

Nine Shrines released an EP entitled ‘Misery’ in late April which features the song “King of Mercy”. The tune is currently getting major air play on Sirius Radio’s Octane. We highly suggest you remember the name of this Mascot Label Group artist because we feel the skies the limit for the quintet. You can go to any of their social media sites to check them out.

Better yet, get out to a live performance and witness for yourself the highly charged energy that the five-piece ensemble unleashes upon an audience. You can also pick up your own copy of ‘King of Mercy’ while you’re there.

Once again we’d like to thank Nita Rindengan of JNR/Vision for her amazing efforts of editing the video production and Aaron Murphy for lending a hand in manning the camera.  We would also like to thank Chris and Andrew for their participation in doing the interview as well as Steve Karas of SKH Music for all of his help in setting up the interview. Music was provided by Autumn Burning.

As always none of this would be possible without our sponsors, The Whiskey Warehouse Bar & Grill, Ink in the Clink 2017 and Metronome Music of Mansfield, Ohio!
