Michael Stanley and The Resonators are set to rock the Lorain Palace Theater on Saturday, July 29th.  The show is being presented by Live Nation. This is your opportunity to witness the “Man and The Band”, play all the hit’s you wanna’ hear! Tickets are expected to sell-out.

The positive buzz created by Michael Stanley’s latest CD, ‘In A Very Short Time’ released on Line Level Music was once again mixed by the legendary producer/engineer Bill Szymczyk, (The Eagles, Joe Walsh, The James Gang, The Who, Santana and B.B. King). The new CD features all of the members of Michael’s road band, The Resonators, as well as several special guests. What better way to spend a hot summer night on the North Coast?

Erica M. Lenhoff and I are excited to be in attendance!

Michael Stanley

From the very beginning of his solo career, through the catalog of masterpieces as the Michael Stanley Band, The Ghost Poets and beyond, the music promises to move your spirit and lift your soul!  The Resonators are Cleveland, Ohio’s finest musicians nestled onstage creating the magical music, mood and energy to give you goose-bumps.  Michael’s roots go back to four decades with several of the band members.  That connection is the fusion of one of the most professional sounding bands I’ve ever seen!

The Resonators consist of Tommy Dobeck on drums, Bob Pelander on piano/vocals, Danny Powers on guitar/vocals, Jennifer Lee on vocals/percussion, Rodney Psyka on vocals/percussion, Marc Lee Shannon on guitar, Eroc Sosinski on bass/vocals, Paul Christensen on Sax and Gary Jones on keyboards.

In August of 1982, The Michael Stanley Band, set an attendance record of four sold out performances at Blossom Music Center, 74,404, that still stands today!

Kerrang Magazine (printed in England) throughout the years have compared the individual and collaboration of the song-writing talents of Michael (and former MSB bandmate) Jonah Koslen to John Lennon and Paul McCartney.  Take notice folks, nobody else has ever been mentioned in the same vein.  His post song-writing since MSB has matured further, escalating his lyrical delivery to becoming one the monumental storytellers in the music scene!

One of Michael Stanley’s greatest gifts is his ability to make us personally feel the song.  Michael walks in our shoes whether it’s a stroll through relationships, the curses of the blue-collar working man, conflicts in his personal life or the lessons of the pitfalls from the volatile music industry.  Whether it’s a ballad, Blues mixed with a tad of Country, or a flat-out rockin’ tune; he captures your soul.

The depth of his stories and music within his songs are conveyed through a voice that oozes with passion, a tonal richness that amplify his persuasion to leave an everlasting feeling of personal oneness.  Thus the perfect storm becomes formed between Michael and his fans!

To some he’s ‘Cleveland’s Favorite Son’ or the afternoon drive-home, DJ of WNCX.  In my opinion, Michael Stanley is one of the greatest singer/songwriters in the history of the entire music industry (and one of the nicest musicians I’ve ever met)!  Mr. Stanley defines ‘something meaningful that matters in our lives’.
