Mansfield, Ohio’s Whiskey Warehouse plays host to You Are A Toy, Krymzon and Sunday Afternoon tonight!!!

The Whiskey Warehouse in Mansfield, Ohio is the place to be tonight if you’re looking for a great night of rock. And the price is right as there is not cover charge to see You Are A Toy (a former TRBC Spotlight Band of the Month) out of Toledo, Ohio as well as hometown favorites, Krymzon. Rounding out the lineup will be Sunday Afternoon.

Gearing up to for a two week gig with A Killer’s Confession that will run from December 9th-23rd, URATOY will be appearing at The Whiskey Warehouse for the second time. They are also going to be hitting the studio along with legendary producer and label executive, Thom Hazaert, who is currently the Director of Operations and Head of A&R at EMP Label Group which is owned by Megadeth bassist, David Ellefson.

“The Difference Is…” was the title of their initial release and sales have been doing well according to lead vocalist, Donovan Black.

“We are extremely thankful for all of the support of the first album, sales have been good and it has also had a great reception from the fans,” Black said. “We have made it available for online purchases; which is something we were tore about when we originally released it. We wanted to do it old school because some of the songs were written well before Facebook and YouTube. “

Joining Black on stage is long time guitarists, Nick Hanefeld and Michael Holdren. Chris Bellavia sits behind the kit while the bass role is currently being split by Jeremiah Rowe (Taunting Giants) and Mike Recker (Tell All Your Friends). The four-string tandem will divide up the time for the tour with AKC.

“Our former bassist, John Toxic, and the band parted ways at the end of the summer on good terms,” Black lamented. “John’s a guitarist at heart and an outstanding leader. We love him and wish him nothing but the best.”

I’ve witnessed You Are A Toy perform on several occasions and have yet to leave a venue disappointed. But what else can you expect from a band whose mantra is ‘Hard Rock Rhythms, Hip-Hop Delivery, Punk Rock Attitude, Death Metal Heart and Southern Rock Manners…Don’t Be a Pussy’!

Krymzon is one of the hardest hitting, in-your-face bands around. Lead vocalist Ron Wise leaves nothing to the imagination with his bone crushing growl and sheer intensity.

Joey VanDine handles both rhythm and lead guitar roles while Adam Anderson is the thumper on bass. Ryan Arter brings everything together with his powerful stick work.

Formed in 2011, this four-piece ensemble has been influenced by the likes of Slayer, Lamb of God and the aforementioned Megadeth. You owe it to yourself to go see them live. You’ll never know what kind of craziness you may witness.

Opening the show will be Sunday Afternoon. They are an original rock band from the surrounding Mansfield area that has played many shows in Mansfield. I’m sure that they will get the show off to a flying start.

Music begins at 9:00 p.m. and as previously mentioned, there is no cover charge. So there’s no reason not to get out to The Whiskey Warehouse and have a great time. Arrive early and enjoy something from their kitchen menu as well as a libation or two.

Until next time this is Big L saying ‘keep those horns up and rock on’!! \m/ \m/ URATOY music video to purchase “The Difference Is…”
