Grind: An Alice In Chains Tribute, has a impressive list of credentials of followers and supporters throughout the music industry. But those salutations don’t tell the entire story until you observe Grind in concert. The Alice In Chains Tribute band has been kicking butt and taking names, wherever they perform. This Friday (June 26th), you have the opportunity to witness the live performance of Grind at the 42 Eighty Concert Club in Brunswick, Ohio.

42 eighty grindSouth Carolina’s Grind: An Alice in Chains Tribute isn’t just going through the motions. Their reverence for the departed Layne Staley and Mike Starr runs deeper than Starr’s penetrative bass grooves. Singer and founder Gary Allen’s intense performances are intentionally haunting to those who caught Staley and Starr in their prime. Exhuming the spirit of ’90s grunge down to every howled note and plaid facial whisker, the tribute band loads their spot-on sets with greatest hits such as “Rooster,” “Them Bones,” and “Man in a Box,” alongside b-sides for hardcore fans. which have been seen at several House of Blues locations, Las Vegas, Sunset Strip, Central America, Seattle, Detroit, St.Louis, Memphis on several events, The 5th Annual Texas Tattoo Showdown and at many more venues. Since 2011, Grind remain the only authentic, world touring tribute to Alice in Chains. The band are set to kick off a 30 date 2015 US Tour in Akron, Ohio and have already announced 10 additional nationwide dates.
