Dread Engine pulls in to the Bethel Road Pub, 1375 Bethel Rd, Columbus, OH 43220, this Saturday evening, September 9th, with guests The World I Knew, Resistance13 and Sebastion Shock. Doors open at 8pm, the rockin begins at 9pm

Dread Engine is a big band, consisting of the powerful Sam Stockdale – Lead Vocals, Rick Kaercher – Digital Engineer, Vocals, Jake Spears – Guitar, Brian Kuhn – Drums, Johnathan Collins – Bass and Tommy Sartin – Guitar.

Dread Engine is a band on the rise. They are a rock band that has arrived and they are demanding national attention. Front-man Sam Stockdale, a humble and kind sort one on one, is a force to be reckoned with on stage. His voice is a monster and he commands the stage as if he were born to it. Rick Kaercher is no slouch himself, bringing a blend of backing and lead vocals to compliment Stockdale’s vocal arsenal.

The rest of the band just flat out keeps the pedal down and the rock coming. Dread Engine is in community with their fans and watching them interact with the fans is like watching family. The stage presence of this band has the feel of a touring band. Come early and check out the other bands, as you will want to be warmed up for the heavy onslaught of Dread Engine!

Resistance13 comes to the stage with a message: Quoting from their Facebook Page; “All we need is each other working together as one unified body. A brotherhood of United States citizens willing to “resist” the temptations of a materialistic, hateful, pessimistic world. We don’t need a stimulus or tax cuts all we need are helping hands and to be reeducated on what we used to stand for. Those qualities were Respect, Dignity, Unity, Integrity, Perseverance, Determination, Justice, Education, Empathy and most importantly…. Love.” They further describe themselves; “The formula for Resistance 13 is simple. Take an aggressive, upbeat, high energy show and mix it with a message of indescribable positivity.” We are looking forward to this metal band from WV and learning more about them.

So headbangers in the 614, make your plans now, and be at the Bethel Rd. Pub this coming Saturday. Mac, Jaimie Courtney and Erica Lenhoff will be on hand for TRBC. Stop and say hi!
