Canton Film Fest Celebrates Its Fifth Year With Special Guest Robert Kurtzman

-1The Canton Film Festival is celebrating its fifth anniversary this year and they have pulled out all the stops as part of this years festival will celebrate the career of FX master Robert Kurtzman.

The three day event kicks off on Thursday April 21st and runs through Saturday April 23rd.

Category Submission Winners Announcement following Q & A

Small Town Monsters kick things off with the debut of their new feature Beast of Whitehall.  Hot on the heels of the success of Minerva Monster – Seth Breedlove and his crew investigate one of the most famous Bigfoot incidents ever recorded.  As the schedule states – Seth will be on hand after the screening to field a Q and A.

Friday is devoted to Music Videos and will culminate with Nick Cavalier’s Forced Perspective: The Story of Derek Hess.  Not to be missed.

And then on Saturday – the one and only Robert Kurtzman will be on hand to talk about his impressive resume of FX and directorial work.  If you’re a horror fan – this is a chance to meet a true legend in the genre.

The final showing of the festival with be Sweet Mickey for President – followed by a Q and A and then the winners of fest will be announced.
