‘The Blood of Gods Tour’ featuring GWAR and Doyle Wolfgang Von Frankenstein set to shred its way through The Agora Ballroom this Saturday night!!!

ARTICLE WRITTEN BY JENNIFER COLLEEN

Misfits legend Doyle Wolfgang Von Frankenstein will be tearing up The Agora in Cleveland OH this Saturday as part of The Blood of Gods Tour with the Almighty GWAR.

On Saturday October 21st  at The Agora in Cleveland Ohio, The Blood of the Gods Tour will be ripping up the stage and dousing the crowd with a gruesome line up of metal greats.

Exalted Misfits guitarist Doyle Wolfgang Von Frankenstein is no stranger to the horror metal realm. He is known for his wicked riffs and intimidating stage presence. Doyle is currently supporting his new album “II: As We Die“, a monstrous follow up to 2013’s “Abominator”. In addition to the GWAR dates Doyle will continue to tour this November for his As We Die World Tour.

Check below for upcoming dates and keep an eye out for The Rust Belt Chronicles interview with Doyle.

The timing of this show is extra exciting for fans of the intergalactic metal warriors GWAR, as they will be releasing their new album, The Blood Of Gods, just one day earlier on October 20th via Metal Blade Records. The tour will also feature performances from American thrash metal faves Ghoul and U.S. Bastards.

Hitting the scene in 1984, GWAR has featured an array of artists over the years. Their latest release will be the first since the untimely passing of lead vocalist, Dave Brockie, in 2014. The current cast of characters include Mike Derks (1988) on rhythm guitar and Brad Roberts (1989) on drums, the elder statesmen of the group.

The Blood of Gods will also be the first for new lead man, Michael Bishop, who is making his return since leaving as the bassist in 1999. Jamison Land (bass), Brent Purgason (lead guitar), Bob Gorman (backing vocals), Don Drakulich (backing vocals) and Matt Maguire (backing vocals) complete the lineup.

Between getting pummeled by Doyle’s evil Annihilator guitar riffs and splattered by GWARs stage show, this tour line up is promising fans one of the most spectacularly heavy and blood drenched concert experiences of all time!
